Chemsex: A Journey Within (2025)

Chemsex: A Journey Within

A documentary that explores the hidden and often stigmatized world of chemsex — the practice of using drugs in sexual encounters — among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in Spain. Through candid testimonies, it reveals the emotional, psychological, and physical dimensions of this phenomenon, tracing how pleasure, intimacy, loneliness, and addiction intertwine. The film follows participants’ personal journeys, showing both the allure and the consequences of chemsex, while giving voice to health professionals and activists who work to offer support and understanding. Rather than judging, it invites reflection on desire, connection, and the search for belonging within the LGBTQ+ community.
