Renunciation (2020) — S01E01 · Episode 1

Renunciation

The "Special department" only deals with complicated and resonance crimes. Vlad Romanenko, the most productive investigator of the police department, is its bright new worker. He quickly proves to his colleagues that his ideal memory, high powers of observation and ability to diverge from the letter of law for the sake of justice are great qualities of a policeman. However, Vlad has a secret that doesn't let him blend in the crew completely. To acknowledge your own problems and shortcomings is sometimes harder than to solve the most sophisticated murder. But if you want to have trust and true love, sometimes you have to reject what you thought was an inseparable part of you.
