As the abyss gazes back and life and death roar in defiance, a remote island at the turn of the century becomes the stage for a dark fable. On the eve of a dangerous typhoon, when peril lurks at every corner, a series of seemingly chance encounters draws multiple parties together. What unfolds is a story that explores the boundaries between life and death, good and evil, and the complexities of the human heart.
