Si Nian wakes up to find herself in the 1980s, as the fake heiress who has just been thrown out of the family that raised her. Worse, she’s expected to take the real daughter’s place in an arranged match with a divorced older man who has two children. Si Nian, who sees an instant family as a bargain, agrees on the spot. Her new husband turns out to be tall, handsome and quick to hand over money. Her relatives’ spite, the real daughter’s sneering and her adoptive parents’ abuse are another matter, and she answers every one of them in kind.
